Privacy
This page explains how PageSeeds Hosted handles the Google Search Console access you grant when you click “Connect Search Console”.
What we read
Read-only access to your Search Console data (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly): the list of properties your Google account can see, and the performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions) of the property for your site. We never change anything in your Search Console.
Why
To plan and measure the weekly pull request we prepare for your site: which pages to improve or write, and whether earlier changes worked.
How it is stored
The access token Google gives us is encrypted before it is stored, and can only be decrypted on the PageSeeds operator's own machine. Our website cannot read it back. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.
Google API Services User Data Policy
PageSeeds' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Search Console data only to provide and improve the PageSeeds Hosted service for you, never for advertising, and no human reads it except as needed to operate that service, for security, or to comply with the law.
Revoke access
You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Reconnecting later replaces the stored token.
Deletion
When your subscription ends we remove the stored encrypted Search Console token within 7 days. You can also revoke our access at any time in your Google account (myaccount.google.com/permissions), or email us to have the token removed sooner.
